Farnham Road

We were awarded a project by a private property investor to convert a derelict office into 28 self contained flats in Farnham Road, Slough and started the project in January 2020.

Our team were fully engaged from start to finish on this conversion project, which created 7 One Bedroom flats and 21 two bedroom flats.

As this was office block was derelict we started the project by securing the whole site with hoarding and setup a building site office. For all our team we setup welfare facilities all of which was setup adhering to all health & safety laws.

Our client had already acquired planning permission for this site, and we adhered to all clients material stipulations, structural calculations and plans.

The project itself compromised of a brick and block build using double layered cavity wall construction with an internal and external skin of brickwork, with a gap between them held together with wall ties, and all laid onto concrete foundations.

We installed new kitchen and bathrooms in all the flats and en suites were built for all master bedrooms in the the 2 bedroom flats.

We project managed from start to finish every aspect of the build for each flat and completed the houses at a high standard including providing all new utilities such as Electrics, Gas and water.

The total build time for this project managed build was 13 months and was delivered on time and on budget and our client was overwhelmed with the projects output.
