At the start of the project we setup a site office and secured the site with hoarding. Welfare facilities were all setup and provided for all our workforce inline with health and safety regulations. Planning permission was already obtained by the client. We adhered to all planning stipulations including all structural plans, calculations and also the clients material stipulations.
The project itself compromised of a modern masonry construction ( brick and block build ) using double layered cavity wall construction with an internal and external skin of brickwork, with a gap between them held together with wall ties, and all laid onto concrete foundations.
Each house needed to have 3 bedrooms with an en suite installed in each master bedroom. A family bathroom was required in each property as well as downstairs WC including drainage connections for each house. We installed new foul drainage connections and made provision for rainwater drainage by digging and installing soakaways.
We project managed from start to finish every aspect of the new build for each house and completed the houses at a very high standard including providing all new utilities such as Gas, Water and Electrics.
The project started in early January 2018 and we completed the whole design and build for the four houses development in September 2018.
The project was delivered on time and on budget and the client was overwhelmed with the new houses we developed for them which was then marketed for sale to the public.
