Hip To Gable And Rear Dormer Loft Conversion

Our client was eager to create new space in their semi detached property and add an extra bedroom and en-suite bathroom to this beautiful home in Dollis Hill.

Using our own, original design, we added classic touches and living space aplenty to this semi-detached house in Randall Avenue. The project required us to work efficiently and professionally while the homeowners carried on with their everyday routines, so we began by adding tin hat roof scaffolding on top of the property for entranceways used specifically by our team and to also protect the home.

As always we also brought our own welfare setup to the site, ensuring that our people didn’t need to use the bathroom facilities within the home at any time and skip permits was applied for. Meanwhile, the tin hat scaffolding protected the rest of the property from start to finish while we completed the work.

Project managing this home transformation from start to finish, in just 8 weeks we added living space, functionality, and light throughout the home.

Our original design incorporated a stunning Juliet balcony, an extra bedroom in the loft, and both air conditioning and light throughout the property. As you can see, the finish throughout this large-scale home improvement project was wonderfully high-spec.

The new bathroom and bedroom featured striking, interior design, and we maximised the use of space by creating new storage areas from scratch. Although the client had already acquired planning permission for this project, we also had to ensure that building regulations were met.

Part of this involved installing hardwired fire detection system in the loft and installing wifi enabled fire alarms into each habitual room including the staircase.
